Aluminium Fluxes

Function of the fluxes 1) Changing wettability of aluminum to oxides ( Alumina ), which then separating oxides from melted aluminum, and therefore, resulting in the most oxides (Alumina ) entering into the fluxes and reducing oxides content in the melting; 2) Changing the oxides film state on the meting surface. The existance of the flux layer can isolate the melted aluminum from water vapor in atmosphere, which then keep hydrogen out of melted aluminum and simultaneously prevent the melt from oxidation loss. 3) Adsorbing oxides in the melted aluminum and purifying the melt.
